Oscar nominee Melanie Griffith stepped out with a large new scar on the left side of her face while out in West Hollywood, California on Friday afternoon.
As she enjoyed a solo drive through Los Angeles, the actress, 65, displayed a mark, which appears to be healing, just above her ear on her otherwise flawless skin.
The scar, which the Working Girl has not publicly spoken about, was not present on any of her latest outings as recently as January 11.
Back in 2018, she was seen on multiple occasions with a scar or Band-Aid on her nose after getting dermabrasion to remove a cancerous cell, according to People.
While filming the 1981 film, Roar, Griffith was reportedly 'mauled by a lion, resulting in over 100 stitches and reconstructive surgery,' according to Business Insider.
Over the years, Griffith has been open about receiving online hate about her looks.
'Most people are telling me I look horrible. The tweets I get are are really nasty,' she told Us Weekly back in 2012.
